The Living Room

My living room is oh so cozy! The dark grey walls and arched shelves were practically begging for some dark, elegant Halloween decorations.

My living room is all about cozy vibes, and the dark grey walls and arched shelves practically begged for some elegant Halloween decorations. To start, I’m a huge fan of doubling up garlands, especially when mixing textures for depth and interest. For Halloween, I went bold with a black maple leaf garland paired with a rich, deep plum garland. The result? A dreamy, moody, and elegant look that’s just right for the season.

The texture on these black flameless candles is so pretty! I placed them in these matte black candlesticks that come in various heights just to keep things interesting. I also threw in some flameless, battery-operated tumblers to give my fireplace mantel that perfect warm, cozy glow. And the smoky glass on them? Absolutely spot-on for my theme of elegant Halloween decorations!

On one side of the mantel, I added a spooky crow perched among some gnarly faux branches. (I tried finding the perfect sticks in my yard but eventually turned to the internet) The branches and candles, bring just the right amount of eerie elegance to the space.

These flameless, battery-operated candles are a game-changer—so easy to turn on and off with handy remotes and so much safer than real candles. I’m obsessed with how this space glows at night, giving off that perfect mix of spooky and cozy all at once!

The real cherry on top of my elegant Halloween decorations has to be the stick-on bats! I used a pack that came with different sizes, and they’re so easy to use—just peel, stick, and boom, instant spooky magic. We created this cool swarm starting on the fireplace and stretching all the way up to the arched shelves. It’s such a showstopper!

My regular, everyday decor, like these board games that look like books, instantly gets that Halloween magic just by popping up a few bats nearby. It’s such a simple yet effective way to give everyday stuff a spooky transformation!

The Dining Room

While my living room has that dark, moody elegance, my dining room is all about light, airy sophistication. It’s right off the kitchen, and has large windows that flood the space with natural light, so I wanted to keep the Halloween decor subtle but stylish.

We kept things light and airy with flameless ivory candlesticks in tall, matte black holders. Fun fact: these are the same candles and holders I use for my Christmas mantel decor! I love getting extra mileage out of pieces that work across seasons.

The real showstopper in my dining room Halloween setup has to be the floating candles! There’s something pretty magical about sitting under a bunch of them while having dinner—trust me, you need to try it! All of these candles come with remotes, making it super easy to turn them on and off.
