Big News, Small Drama, and an Exciting 2025

October was a wild month for our family. Between content creator conferences, visiting family, and Stuart’s brother’s wedding, we’ve barely had a moment to catch our breath. And in the midst of all that, something extra special happened—something we’re so thrilled to finally share (with a little drama behind it, of course).

One of the highlights of October was speaking at a content creator conference.

It was such a fun experience, and during my talk, I shared a personal announcement with the small group in attendance. My sweet assistant, who was with me at the conference, was recording the whole thing. She later posted a clip to Instagram featuring the outfit I wore that day. But here’s the kicker: she accidentally included the part where I made the announcement!

Take a look and see if you can catch it.

If you need a hint, take a closer look at the slide.

Yes, you read that right—our family is growing! Surprise! We found out when I was about four weeks along, and I’m currently 11 weeks with a due date of June 8th. Stuart was a little stunned at first, which is funny considering we were actively trying for this baby.

The Instagram story was up for about an hour before I started receiving texts from Stuart’s siblings. The problem? We hadn’t told our families yet. Our plan had been to share the news in person the following week at Stuart’s brother’s wedding.

Thankfully, both of our families are incredibly chill, so it wasn’t a huge deal. My assistant felt terrible, but everyone took it in stride. The only downside was that Stuart’s sister also announced her pregnancy that same week, and we missed out on the chance to do a joint reveal.

We’re planning to find out the gender because I’m just not one for surprises. Malcolm, our youngest, is the busiest toddler we’ve ever had, so while a little brother for him to wrestle would be amazing, a tough little sister sounds pretty wonderful too.

This is the video of us sharing the news with the girls –

Here’s the fun twist: we’re moving just three weeks after my due date. (I know. What could go wrong?) These next few months are going to be incredibly busy, but we’re ready to take it all on—one milestone at a time.

One question I’ve already been asked is about the liver and colon cleanse I did back in January. I believe it’s made a huge difference in managing my morning sickness this time. I have so much to say about it, so keep an eye out for a detailed post coming soon!

Through the little bumps and surprises, we’re overwhelmed with gratitude. Our family is about to grow, and we couldn’t be more excited for this next chapter. Thank you for your love and support—it means the world to us! As always, if you have tips or advice for navigating life with five kids, send them my way. ❤️

Here’s that linked outfit I mentioned. It was a really cute outfit!
