A simple yet flavorful gravy made from turkey drippings, enhanced with chicken stock and Italian seasoning. Perfect for drizzling over mashed potatoes, stuffing, or turkey slices.

Ingredients

  • Turkey drippings

  • Chicken stock (as needed)

  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  • Combine Drippings and Stock:
Pour the reserved turkey drippings into a saucepan. If more volume is needed, add chicken stock to reach the desired amount.

  • Prepare Slurry:
In a separate bowl, mix 2 tablespoons of cornstarch with ¼ cup of cold water until smooth.

  • Thicken Gravy:
Add the cornstarch mixture to the saucepan with the drippings. Bring to a boil, stirring continuously, until the gravy thickens. For a thicker consistency, mix additional cornstarch with water and add incrementally.

  • Season:
Stir in 1 tablespoon of Italian seasoning. Add salt and pepper to taste.

  • Serve:
Remove from heat and serve warm over your favorite dishes
